I got dtc $0708 and misfire 0300,0301,0302. Is the range sensor causing misfire. Replaced camshaft sensor and fan resistor. My o2sensors do not read heater voltage. When light flashes the vibration is bad on highway so have to slow down of course. Misfires case really bad when light flashes. But is this the range sensor causing this?

You might want to post this issue over on a forum where they specialize in Escapes. A good forum to try is Escape City.

    You might have better luck.

    Only Escape experience
I've had is 2002 Mazda Tribute.

That and the neighbor's daughter 2013 Escape had major electrical failure coming home from Talladega nascar race

Been stuck in Ronnie Watkins Ford Gadsden AL since then.

New alternator, ECU and now they say it needs a fuel pump and Ford had a supposed shortage of pumps due to a recall.

Dang, they must have had a 1.6L EcoBeast Escape. They had all kinds of recalls. Would have thought that Ford would have the parts backlog worked out by now.:jaw drop:

If they travel the Interwebs, they might be well served by the Escape forum I mentioned earlier in this thread. Ford Customer Service monitors that forum frequently and maybe they can shed some light as to what is going on.

    Just a thought.
