I have wanted to say that for so very long... I'll say it again... "My F-150" :)

I purchased this truck with every intention of overhauling it and having an awesome truck for cruising Wyoming Highways, over mountain passes, to camping sights, rivers to float and folk festivals to have fun at. Cruising the interstate to visit family and friends. And just cruising for the joy of cruising!

I chose the generation 10 due to it's great lines and simple interior design... and not too many computer generated irritants. It's pedigree is small town Montana truck with no real abuse except pulling a horse trailer over mountain passes. No city driving beyond getting groceries, no salted roads and no accidents. It had 150k and burns ½ qt of oil per 1000 miles. Only cosmetic flaws are just the patina of being 13 years old. The interior is very clean.

    I have replaced:

plugs coil springs & boots, oxygen sensors DPFE sensor & EGR valve, shocks, brakes, all exterior bulbs, instrument cluster, light switch

    Maintenance:

oil & lube, differentials lube, transmission serviced, wheel bearings packed

    Performance Upgrades:

Michelin LXT/MS2 17' tires, K&N cold air intake, Magnaflow dual exhaust, Superchip's Flaspaq tuner, Sylvania Silverstar headlights & fog lights

    Interior Upgrades:

removed back seat, Dynamat on back wall some on back floor and all doors, CD player

    Yet to Do:

spray in bed liner, matching topper and... overhauled with some nice Edlebrock cams!

I spent the weekend detailing it to the nines and hand waxing "My F-150" and today it is getting the final servicing. Tomorrow... I CRUISE FOR THE JOY OF IT!

    How am I doing?

Thanks guys! Nope no suspension plans... got the perfect stance and ride for me as it sits. And nope Will... my guitars don't need the space takers. And I will note in 360,000 miles on my 90 Ranger... no one ever road in the back seats. And I'm pickier now who I let ride with me than I was then... lol.

Yup... gen 10 is my favorite of the modern trucks... love the lines!

Been almost 20 years since I had something worth hand waxing :)

Good choice compare to newer once that sometimes give complicated sensors. Real neat and nice!
