Ok so i got into my truck today and went to adjust my steering wheel and low and behold the adjustment lever just fell apart under the column. It just hangs down now and its completely disconnected....only thing i can remember is i loaned the truck to my mom a few months back and she complained about how she couldnt get the tilt to work and it ended up being she was pulling out instead of down on the lever...is this an easy fix and if so how do i fix it...the lever is just hangin down by my knees!!!

All that ya gotta do is to take out the 2 screws under the steering column and slide it back on.This should work.

It has a tang on the end of it that slides into a slot and locks in place by pulling the arm forward. It's not visible tho & could take a bit of manipulation to get her to lock. After this the arm worked fine.

If you need, I can tear my column down and take pics for ya on how it needs to go back on. Shouldn't be too hard like Backwoods stated. just lemme know :waytogo:
