Okay so a buddy of mine has a badass Nissan 350z and he said he was considering getting a chip from this site for his car. He said that this company made one for my truck.
It almost seems too good to be true, and I'm not one of those people who is quick to believe anything I see out there, so I figured I'd get y'all's opinions?

Also, If I were to get this would it matter if I bought and plugged up an edge cts programmer to the truck?
I'm hoping to be getting an edge cts in March.

90% of chips are gimmicks. Just hold out for the edge.

you can't have a performace chip and a programmer, it won't work. i'd suggest getting just the CTS. i love my edge CS

Hmm, alright thanks guys, and as far as the edge goes, i've heard it really breathes a new life into the truck, what kind of legit differences can I expect to see?

with mine on lvl3 with 93 octane she really gets up on WOT. i think the CTS puts out 45hp and 50lb torque IIRC. you'll feel a difference for sure

I don't really understand the "levels" either, I'd mostly be trying to get the best fuel economy I can...

idk how to explain it. lvl 1 is trans mode, lvl 2 is for towing and lvl 3 is performace. i don't understand any of the custom tunes that people round these parts speak of

Level 1 changes shift points, 0hp increase
Level 2 increases power a bit and shifts better
Level 3 requires premium fuel and really wakes the truck up.

My Edge was great and my Gryphon is awesome. Better mpg, more power, and immediate response. My g/f actually jumped the first time she drove the truck. She touched the gas pedal and we were going! She was used to her car which doesn't do anything for the first 25% of throttle....

Custom tunes are done to take into account all the mods that you've done and optimize it for your driving style. Like you don't drive the same that I do and are in a different location, so they'll write a tune that better fits you.
