    Hi everyone,new guy here.
My mechanic friend's son has an 88 that I want to buy,but I want make sure I get the best price. I will be fixing the issues myself. There are several known issues:
    Needs brake master cylinder
    At least 2tires
Small radiator leak but it's the not radiator since it was recently replaced
    Rear glass replaced

The truck looks like it will clean up pretty well. Most ads I see are between $1800and 2700. It has 152k miles.

Thanks ahead of time! Glad I found a dedicated forum for f150s!

    Mark

I wouldn't spend more than 2k on it especially with the work it needs. Realistically I would spend about 1500 bucks, which leaves some room towards the cost to fix the needed stuff. Its 17 years old so remember that it will probably need more work down the road.

It seems like a lot of work for this truck. I actually like old trucks, esp when they're well maintained. I hope you were able to negotiate a lower price. Good luck fixing and restoring, with good work I think it'll still look good as new.

Looks like you have to spend a lot of money for the repairs. Good luck man!
