The manuals help out with a lot of the major repairs that you're getting in to. I'd go pick one up as soon as you can

Might as well throw some wagon wheels on it and a white canvas over the top of the cab.

Ok I haven't touched this thread for quite a while now so here goes the updates. I got rid of the white top, put 2" drop shackles in the rear, new rear shocks, and finally a real bumper! Off my buddies old c10 but it fits so whatever

    Forgot to post these pictures

New vs old spring hangers. New ones are just cheapo Dorman ones from O'Reilly.

In total the job took about 6 hours by myself. Used an air chisel to knock out the old rivets, and lots of PB Blaster on the bolts through the leafs. Eventually I ended up grinding the nut off and pushing the bolt through.
    Total cost was about $140

Next up I plan on getting new progressive rate coilsprings up front along with new shocks.

Also thinking about replacing the halogen lights I have with some LED bars.

Does anyone have a 9th gen grille that they're not too attached to? Chrome or black doesn't matter. Looking to stay under like $25 because they're about $45 new from LMC

Is something binding the shift levers, that are not
allowing it to move to 2nd, 3rd and 4th?

Check how the shift linkage engages the transmission.
Something is definitely off if it isn't engaging the shift levers.

It feels like there's something blocking the shift gate. Like a solid wall almost
