So my truck started when we got it in 2007 to add another superduty to our fleet. My dad Owns a landscape construction company (WE DONT MOW LAWNS) he has had 96 f250 with a 460 v8, a 99 f250 PSD, and now he has an 02 f250 PSD.

We wanted something that would replace our 1 ton flatbed plain jane 99 chevy 3500. So we were in search of a PSD to match his as best as we could. Since our plans were to add a second crew my dad wanted it to be something comfortable as I would be driving it. We looked for a couple of months and finally saw one at a local dealer. We whipped right in there and traded the flatbed for it that night. We picked it up with 96k on it all it had was the lift, wheels, and tires, which was enough for me because I was driving a ranger and to go up to an f350 SD to drive for work was enough, but now we got a lifted one!

Anyway, I started driving it for work, we hadn't started a second crew yet, I was still driving my ranger as my DD, but there was talk of selling it. Then the economy went boobs up. The SD was parked and only driven on occasion. We put about 7k on it in the 4 years we had it. Until recently My dad decided instead of a raise he would let me drive the SD as my own, and when its paid off in about a year he will sign the title to me. This is in place of a raise and a bonus. So I sold my 03 F150, and ditched the payments and insurance! massive savings.

So when we first got it, we added the lumber rack, the tool box, the bug guard, and the lights. When I got it as my DD I added the 4 inch turbo back Magnaflow muffler, The Glow shift gauges with an egt, tranny temp and boost gauge, My stereo out of my f150, Sirius radio, High mount Passport Escort 7500 radar detector, and a cold air intake mod. The led's in the gauges backlight change colors! And I swapped my 2 10 inch JBL subs with 1 shallow mount 12 inch Alpine type S. I also threw a WAAG Frontrunner bumper guard.

Now I know I dont have a lot of mods now, but I am bored right now, so heres a list of my near future plans:

    DP custom tuner
    Clear corners
Cablights (I have them and the wiring harness, they just need to be polished/replaced with clears)
I am going to weld up some new running boards with 3 steps, 1 for each door, and 1 to step up to the tool box.
Slim lights mounted on each side of my tow hooks.

    My long term plans are:

Re gear and add an LS diff
    36's instead of 35s
    Stage 2 injectors
    Tranny cooler from a 6.0l
Shift kit, clutches, and a larger torque converter (when the tranny blows)
    05+ headlight conversion
Diamond plate rail guards, and tail gate cover

Heres a pic when I brought it home a couple months ago.

Here it is now, not much done, but I have more plans.

Not too bad, time consuming. Gotta tap the exhaust to thread in the egt probe. And tap the intake manifold for the boost. But I dont reckon you have that ha ha. tranny temps pretty easy, it threads right in. Then there is just electrical wiring.
