I sold my car on a Friday in just a few hours and went to the dealership for a test drive knowing that she was out of my price range, but exactly what i had been searching for. After being at the dealership several hours and walking away, the sales manager followed me into parking lot and drop the price 4grand for me I left with her that same night at MIDNIGHT. I have a feeling that dealer never wants to see me again! She is a 2008 FX2 Scab, with the 5.4l Triton v8 with 53,xxx miles when i bought her. It came with: the OEM upgraded 20's Jason tonneau cover (previous owen put it on) bed is not lined, but it has an F-150 mat inside The previous owner also put stick up tap lights in the bed Leather interior with red sticking, that has now turned pink ( images are clickable ) So far all i have done is get new tail lights Before : After: So far my plans are simple i don't really want anything too crazy just the basics. HID's Exhaust Tuner Intake Drop Saleen Grille New hood (much later) Maybe new wheels (again much later) Im pretty impulsive so if i plan too much i never really get anything done, so i just see where things take me. This will be a slow build more than likely as i want to get an old jeep to use as my off road/mudding vehicle and i will have to split my time and money between the 2. I think thats all of i!!t
I'm digging the storm trooper look think you should lower it a little bit, atleast to get rid of the stock rake
I was actually thinking of getting the drop shackles as a temporary fix. A full drop is alot more and the shackles will probably kill the mod bug for a little while lol
I got a quote for 90 shipped which isn't too bad. I'm just not sure how it will affect the ride, I havent really looked into that.
I do too, but i still want to keep some ride height. My friends have told me to make it bagged and bottomed which i will never do. I drove a slammed Honda for 4 years so a nice level at first and then a little drop. Thanks hammerdown ! ill have to go and bug him about it
