Got the intake wrapped up, didn't have anything but zip ties to hold it tight.

Got that programmer from my buddy. It's a diablo predator programmer. Unfortunately it only works for the 04-08 4.6/5.4 3v.

Called diablo to see if there was an update for the software but there isn't, I need a new unit. They told me I could trade the unit in for a $100 credit towards a new one. I think he told me they sell them for $399, amazon has them for $317. I'll just buy one from Amazon.

 

Ain't no heat getting to that CAI pipe.

Pulled the factory exhaust off the truck today and put the flowmaster super 44 from my 7700 on it. It's been sitting in the rafters lol sounds freaking great.

My plan was to install the muffler with only clamps. that way, if I wanted to, I could pull the 44 off and put the factory exhaust back on.

Borrowed a coupler from work to clamp the muffler to the existing pipe on the truck, solid fit. Tied the muffler to the support running frame rail to frame rail with a hanger from advance and one more to the side of the frame rail so the muffler doesn't wobble and hit the driveshaft.

 

That bish ain't gonna be dancin' around under there.
