Hello fellas. So I came up with this idea to put a 5th or 6th Gen body onto a 8th or 9th Gen frame, with all the "modern" electronics (efi, etc). Frames are easy to come by for a few hundred bucks around here, but straight bodies are hard to find, as everyone beats them to hell and back. Anybody know someone willing to sell a decent (little rust or a few dings and dents are fine, gives it character) 67 to 77 body for less than a grand? Doesn't have to move under its own power or even have its own wheels, just needs to get on a trailer.
Within 500 miles or so of the st louis area would be preferred, road trips are fun.
Anyway I wasn't having much luck with Craigslist so I figured I'd ask around here.
    Thanks!

I've seen a few 5th 6th gen trucks on Craigslist
    down here in Chattanooga.
Prices are around $1200-$2500 for needs " TLC"
    Running trucks.

Saw one 1977 two weeks ago that already had the
crown vic swap front suspension and 4.6 engine
with Torino rear axle, nice 18" wheels, decent bronze paint for $5500.

check out copart.com. They have a ton of wrecked trucks, but some just don't run anymore
