I have a 1988 F350 ,7.3 non turbo. it has 450,000 km or 280,000 mi for my southern friends. I have just gone through a complete reno. This is one tough little truck! It is a farm truck and allthow it may look pretty it has work to do. I pull an 18 ft stock trailer and use the flat deck in ways you can only dream of.
I have invested 16k on this truck and my mech says I saved 60k by not buying a new one. It is 4x4 with Dayna 60 front and Dayna 90 posi rear. I use Toyo WLT1 on the front and Uniroyral Laradoes on the rear. The rears are siped and are on year round. FYI I think I get 30% more life by sipeing and really good grip. I live in the B.C. Canada and we do get snow! I have had chains on the old girl and driven through 24 in of snow and never stopped. By the way I get 20.4 mg pulling a trailer. I will send pics when I can.
