No real smoke. Only with the drive after running the truck after the heat soak. Was such a let down. Lol Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Dang it man. Figured it would have carbon on the rings, back side of the valves, combustion chamber and tops of the piston at least.
Hey, New update and some insight as the usual case. My truck is having a kick from 1st to 2nd gear. I found a E4OD transmission from a bronco with only 60,000 miles on it. Which i believe is a score. For the price of $150.00... My questions to you now. Is it a good deal? What should I do with this tranny before install... And how difficult is it to swap? Do I need to remove my transfer case to swap transmissions? Its my first time doing something like this. Cant afford a new transmission and figured this could be a win.
Not much help on trans knowledge. Sorry jdogali1989 Couple other members can. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
That's a decent price. But before you do that, have you changed the Trans fluid and filter? That can be the cause of some rough shifting if the fluid needs to be swapped. And if you are just switching out transmissions, it's maybe a weekend project, one day if you have help. You'll want to drop the transfer case just for ease of access Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
I haven't changed th filter and the oil. I know on the stick it's pink. But perhaps I should change that filter Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Another update. Found a clean bed for the truck.. amazing price of $150 I love deals. It's from a 1988 f150 looks like it was red then painted rattle can black. No rot. Just a hole in the bed. Looks like a lazy man fuel pump job. But I can weld a piece on metal in and call it a day. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Hey all. I'm back again. I just picked up a new radiator support. Due to the current one is shot. Only way to replace body bushings. What's the best way on tackling the removal of the radiator support Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
