    You can still get 16.5" military tires in 36" and 37" for like $150 a tires

    ^my buddy is doing that..37". and can get an 80% tire for 80 bucks

    we had one that was in pretty sorry condition but it held air and worked for mock up. now he has the rest of the wheels on order and next will be tires.

    The only real down side IMO is they are a pretty heavy tire

    actually......youd be suprised. these are only a load range D, the 35" nittos are load range E.

    mounted the 37s are lighter but what seems like 10-20 lbs. however we will use a scale when he gets tires with more tread and compare them then.

    Most of my experience with them has been with the military wheels with run flats
    Thought the weight came from both but I guess its mostly the steel wheel
