Does anyone know of a Leaf spring to Coil over conversion kit for a 1992 F-350 with four inch suspension lift.

Nice looking OBS by the way.

I heard of 2000 - '05 Super Duties having it done.

Unless you want to spend for new coil mounts with the radius arms.

I think Bronco Graveyard had something but not sure where it was.
Think I heard Ballistic Fabrication was another but drag your bank with you.

Leaf springs have been around since the 1400's
    Simple design but hey,
    it works.

Guess you could look for a wrecked '05 SD
and get that axle for your conversion.

How to go about the top mount for the coil ???

Lower coil cup mounts could be fabbed out of large
diameter pipe with one end capped, then welded to the
axle. Coil cushions made of thick polyurethane.

I'm still wondering what type of upper coil capture would
be needed for the top ?

Thanks for the help. I don't mind the springs if I could get a better ride out the truck. I've had it for over 25 years with springs, but I'm sure in that amount of time, someone might have come up with a better solution. At one time I also put heavy duty springs on the rear to pull a three horse trailer, so I need to go back to the originals. any suggestions on better style shocks to work with the leaf springs?

Bilstein 5100 series would be my choice. I haven't put them on my SD yet only because tuition for our son to private school has crunched the budget.
I've seen them on sale just under
    $410 a set.

    Just saw this on 4wheelparts
    $297 a set
