Nice thing about the Coyotes is I haven't heard any real first Gen problems on them. Seem pretty solid. No demand for them like the mustang's either.

theyre solid but for 10k, you could sell your truck and use that 10k for buying a used truck with a 5.0 factory and have zero issues. im just saying for 10k you could do a ton powerwise with the factory motor and not have any compatability issues and a fraction of the work

I might get 10k for my truck, but I would still have payments on a new one with a 5.0, and it would be hard to make an excuse to mod an engine that isn't paid for.

And it's a lot easier to work on one outside the engine bay.

yea im not saying it wouldnt be cool or anything. Just its still an expensive swap is all im refering too, you could buy a ranger, long travel it, and an explorer 5.0 swap for that and youd probably have more fun with that.

Lol yeah it'd be expensive, but it'd be fun. Have to have a shop and a lot more money before it's feasible though.

That's an awesome deal. Something about buying a "used" engine just seems sketchy

Like, it could be broken, or stolen?

Broken would an easy reason to upgrade parts.
