Just a lot of random sheet metal, still not all here but most of the engine bay sheet metal is here, the cowl, and the doors. Still waiting on floors, frame rails an trunk floor and some more patches
busy day but had a little time so i got to work on the firewall, had to fab up a piece that the firewall welds to (old one rusted away) then i could weld in my patch panel, came out sweet. after welding and blending you cant even tell its replaced. thats how we do it ladies and gentlemen
nice job dude. i cant wait to learn how to weld. this sunday is going to rock! going to buy me a small welder for like $150-$200
do it man, i love welding. Practice on lots of sheetmetal. if you can weld thin sheetmetal good than you can weld anything
Nice blend in around the blower motor hole. That's along way from the fiberglass patching someone else tried instead of doing it right.
Thanks man, yea it really pissed me off to see so much half assed fiberglass on the car. If you ain't gonna do it right then don't do it. I'm gonna take a sandblaster to the fronted today so we will see how that goes
