75-140 Gear oil.

    what should i use? is royal purple really the route i should go? to fill my friggin 10.25 rear i need 3.5 quarts of that ****...thats $96.

    can i go with a cheaper oil and just buy the friction additive for it?

    what is yalls opinions

    I would pay for the good stuff and not worry about it. But there are others besides royal purple. Amsoil Severe Gear® 75W-140 is only $13.05 a quart with a preferred membership. I think around $15 regular price.

    is royal purple honestly that good though lol

    i about crapped my pants when i found out i needed 4 bottles of that **** to fill my diff. back up.

    I went with RP and lucas for the modifier, but any full synthetic will be good. Check out Amsoil also, maybe Valvoline

    you put modifier in with RP? the RP already has modifier in it.

    crap. i forgot about the gasket. thanks joe!

    i can get a gallon of Lucas full syn for $50 and ill just get a thing of Lucas friction modifier.

    Delo400 is 5 bucks a quart :shrug:

    why dress it up when all its gonna do is go romp through a cow pasture :jester:
