Well, small update. Still not mounted! Bwhahahahahah!!! But, seriously. I've decided to mount the 30's on a "street light bar". Had to purchase a cradle to mount to the light bar, since the holes were off (knew this going into it). Now, i'm just trying to make time to get to my buddies, so he can fab something up to stack both 30's on each other. My off time conflicts with his, and yea. It's still not on the truck. Yes I could mount one, then later the other once I do make the brackets. I'm lazy and dont really want to take it apart and put it together twice.
SUCCESS!!! well.. almost.. Got the spot bar on (combo was about .25" too long for the "universal" mount). Works, and is solid. Then realized when i open the hood, i have to loosen the bar to spin it up, to get my skinny ass hands under the grille to unlatch the hood. That's a no go. So after the vacation trip either the new double stack mount im making will be up higher; The bars will be behind the grille. OR i'm going to sell off the bars and order some of them round led lights like Dylan picked up. Give me some ideas here lol.
