going to be longer than that.

since when did ford start putting lug nut covers on the lug nuts!?!?!???

all of my nuts, except one cause it must have fallen off before I got the truck, have chrome/aluminum lug nut covers over the fricken lugs. I cant get anything off. took 15 minutes to get one cover off to expose the lug nut, had to pry and bend the cover with a screwdriver.

any input?? has to be an easier way to undo them. some are loose, some are frozen and they all have splits in them from someone else trying to/taking them off.

turns out the passenger side lug nuts are all messed up. I thought the chrome/aluminum covers over the lug nuts were supposed to come off (thought to myself, how stupid is that?) I couldn't get any socket or even the factory tire iron to fit on the lug nuts, ran over to the driver side and the wrench fit on perfectly.

I had to hammer to tire iron on to get a bit on the lugs.

passenger side is done, driver side in a few!

Lol that sucks. My wheels came with the hub caps, so no crazy lug nut covers.

Yea, had me confused. Some of the covers on the lugs were moving around the lug, that's why I thought they came off lol. I'll order some tomorrow.

Kinda dark out, I'll take better pictures tomorrow.

haha very good question. im still paying the tires off from my 7700 lol

these tires SHOULD get me through winter but if I come into some money I might buy some, I do have a roof that needs to be fixed lol

my next purchase is going to be a new radio. I hate having to plug my phone into my radio via line-in.

looking at a touchscreen double-din with Bluetooth.

my pioneer is pretty nice, but it won't stream music via bluetooth, think it's too old.

Do you have different size rims on the 2012 vs 7700?

Yea, the 7700 rims were 16", these are 18". Would have been nice to swap tires.
