Alright. I want some more hp without hurtin my mileage too much. With the 5.0. I thank ima get ether duals ran with roush or flow master mufflers. Then ima put the boss 302 cai on. And lastly i wanna get a tuner. So with that said is there a better cai i could get? And im clueless on the tuner subject. So can someone point me in the general direction with that?
Well if you are going to go with the Boss 302 kit you will need two items .. first the AFE intake as the boss sits higher and places the TB at a higher spot where other aftermarket CAI's will not fit without tube modification. Also with the Boss 302 you will need a tuner for the truck to run correctly. I would recommend Mike at 5 Star for it all .. I just did a week or so ago. As for MPG .. I am getting a steady diet of 16.5 mpg city with all the mods in my sig .. basically what you are asking about.
