Driverside Rear door speaker is buzzing... Time to upgrade the rears! Going 6x8s again.

Have the Rockford Fosgate Punch P1683 in the front doors. Highs and Mids are great, but no bass to speak of. Rockford Fosgate Punch P1683 6"x8" 3-way car speakers at Crutchfield.com

Looking at either Pioneer or Infinity now.
    Pioneer TS-A6885R 5"x7"/6"x8" 4-way car speakers at Crutchfield.com
    Infinity Reference X REF-8602cfx 5"x7"/6"x8" 2-way car speakers at Crutchfield.com

Leaning towards the Pioneers since they're 4-way, lower Frequency Response, and higher (350 vs 180w) peak power rating.

I have the Rockford fosgate punch 1683 in my truck and I love them. They don't really have any bass but I think They sound great through my amp. I've got 2 10s for bass so it's not really somethin I need in the door speakers.

The Pioneer's low response is 31 Hz
    compared to Infinity with 49Hz.

Only 3dB more on the Infinity

I'm about ready to pull the plug on the Pioneers. I think the lower Hz, more power, and being 4-way (and cheaper) makes it a much better speaker overall.

Haven't driven down the road yet, still painting the interior, but pretty happy with the response so far.

Probably would, but not worth it right now. Shocks are next.
