We recently blew a head gasket due to overheating. My fault. Now we are pulling the engine to give it the once over in addition to the head gaskets and head work. Need to change the rear main seal, and going to replace all the hoses. Just wanted to ask since it has been a long time since I have done this, is there anything that I should be looking at directly due to this blown head gasket beside the obvious. thanks

The only way to tell if the heads are is to take them to a machine shop unless there really warped and noticeable.
