I am re packing my small tool kit in my truck for daily use. Thinking about changing my tow strap w/hooks out for one with no hooks and D shackles. I dont do much off road, but in the winter i've helped pull lots of people out of ditches and snow banks.. After seeing some videos of chains and tow hooks snapping i think this would be a good idea, what do you guys think? worth the money or stay with the hooked strap?

Get rid of the one with hooks just a death trap, they shouldnt even be alllowed to sell them. get a nice strap without hooks and some heavy duty d shackles. I also stay away from chains not a fan of them at all ive seen and few heavy duty ones break and its not a pretty sight
