I replaced a head unit in my 2007 f150 super crew and the harness to the fan control knob disconnected in the process. Once I put everything back together, the a/c runs low on 1-3 setting and high on 4. Did I do something wrong in the reconnection? Is there a process to that instead of just plugging it back in?

The fan motor plug has several wires going into it.
Make sure none of the pins were crossed plugging it back in.

If everything checks out with the blower motor fan wire control
plug in then that sounds like the blower motor fan resistor
went bad but not likely since it worked before head unit install.

Try disconnecting the battery 10 minutes anyway
incase it was some wierd power glitch.

If that doesn't cure it, and all pins of the blower motor control
are inserted properly into their prospective slots, go for the
    blower motor fan resistor fix.

It was a stupid mistake. Top part of the connector was not fully snapped in. Works as usual now. Thanks for your help
