This is to discuss some issues I recently met with my Ford F350 6.0L. When I stop the engine, some kind of fuel smell is coming from the engine side. But I couldn't find any leaks anywhere. I checked the fuel pump. But everything is fine. What can be the other reasons for this? I guess people with good knowledge in ford diesel engine repair can give me an answer.

Could it be the smell of the PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) vapors?

These come from the valve cover and are sucked through
    the turbo post-air filter, pre-turbo.
    Check in that area.
