I'm tired of the belt slippage when shifting and the noise when accelerating in the cold, so I'm looking at new belts. O'Reilys doesn't carry the gatorback anymore, but they did have a Gates in stock, for $55....
    What do you guys think?

I have the Gatorback and love it dude. It's a lot quieter then then the Gates I had on there. My Gates had gotten loud and had slipped the past two winters. I'd say Gatorback!

Well, I already have the Gates... lol I think I'll run it for a while and see how it works, maybe switch up to the Gatorback next time. We don't have an Autozone here and the shipping causes the prices to be about the same, and I didn't have to wait for the Gates to get here.

Ahh, the Gates will be fine I'm sure. There wasn't much of a price difference here so I decided on the Gatorback mainly to see how it worked. Now that I've had it for a year I'll stick with it until someone creates a better one! :waytogo:

Gatorback is better IMO, the Gates I bought first ended up squeak, squeak, squeaking after only 6 months.

The Gatorback just feels stickier out of the package! The Gates belts don't feel that way brand new. :peace:

Ok, you've convinced me. If my gates starts squealing I'll get a gatorback right away!
