I was a little concerned about that happening acutally... but the cop didn't say anything about them when he was inspecting my bumper. I also only have 2 coats so they're not suuuper dark, my 3rd brake is led and not tinted, and the turn signals on my mirrors light up as brake lights also. Short story is she was following way to close. It was daylight and dry outside, no reason to hit me even if my lights didn't work at all
