Well I have one but haven't bothered wiring it up yet so I can't give any real input on it but from what I hear they dnt really help much Sent from my HTC Inspire 4G using Tapatalk
might as well have thrown my MECP Certification in the trashcan ... Wiring two dual 4 ohm voicecoil subs in the 4 ohm configuration on that amp will only deliver 250 watts. That BOSS amp claims to have 1100 watts @ 2ohm ???
Those claims are probably extremely far fetched.. but still its either 4 ohms or 1 ohm and its not 1 ohm stable so your stuck with 4 ohms... And a cap WONT help with dimming lights I know that much.. lie I said from what I've heard their pretty much pointless Sent from my HTC Inspire 4G using Tapatalk
All those marketing agents figured out how to sell a completely useless car audio product by quoting electrical theory as facts. Then the best part was to convince the end user customers, district managers, sales staff and installers at the big box stores and mom and pop stereo shop owners that these capacitors were a required component for a "professionally" installed audio system. Since caps are a waste of money, lets spend that would be wasted money that on a "real" power supply system for the audio system. Some 350 amp alternators, maybe 4 or 5 of them, 4/0 gauge wire, that's 0000 power cable "oxygen free" of course and 6 or 7 or 8 XS Power D2700 AGM Deep-cycle batteries. I doubt the lights will dim with 7K something $ worth of power supply, stupid caps are useless.
Oh yes now we are talkin! Cals are useless in a daily setup. In a burp setup they might help a little but daily, no Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
i'll be tackling this, this week sometime, probably my days off if i have the seat lift parts. Will just an 8 gauge audio kit supply me with enough wire for everything? Item below: Amazon.com: Boss KIT-2 Complete 8 Gauge Amplifier Installation Kit: Car Electronics
