Ok, so I am having the worst luck ever!! I got the other motor in the truck. And it ran awesome for about a week now. No issues and no noise. I put an edge revolution cts programmer in it as of now. I had it on level 2. I pulled a trailer 2 hours one way. Ran great. Woke up this morning. Went outside and strarted the truck. Fired normal. Went inside for two minutes. Came outside to leave and the truck wasn't running. So I went to restart the truck, and now it won't turn over. There is no crank whatsoever. I checked the fuses and tapped on the starter. And nothing. Can ANYONE give me any advice? I'm stranded as of now 2 hours from home!! Thanks so so much!! Also. My battery is fine. Gas gauge and battery gauge works
The gauges on the programmer do not appear. Just 3 dots in each box. And there I had it in level 2 for towing. It now says level 0
I called edge technical support and they were absolutely no help. And that's after I was on hold for 15 minutes!
Never think you would need to carry a back up programmer with you to load stock tune back to the ECU.
Tried all that. But thanks for the attempts. I took it to my ford dealer. The on (computer) is no longer! They are telling my the the edge programmer fried my computer. I'm not sure how. But through all their tests, they came up with that diagnosis. And then they wanted $1300 for a new ford oem computer! I told them I could get a new one that comes programmed to my vin# as well as 2 new keys programmed for $239.99. They weren't happy with that answer. So now I'm waiting to get the new computer. Won't be here for about 7-10 days. I'll let you know if that fixes it. Just frustrated. I got the programmer to help me watch things better so I wouldn't have to put more money into this darn truck!!
