Would have been nice to put one in, that was a messy job.

My superduty trans is the same way, minus the pump, I just used a tiny funnel, took a while but it got it done. No drain plug though. Expedition had a plug, that was convenient ha ha

It has the long dip stick in the factory spot, just needs a tiny funnel and it takes a LONG time to fill. You'd think on a $4000 bullet proof trans they would have at least put in a drain plug though.

    FML y'all must think when
time for trans fluid / filter
    change.

I use those long deep funnels from Walmarto Brendon,
    Holds quart 1/2 @ a time.
    Easy pie filling.

    Those things are pretty cool.

Bought one to change the diff fluid on my 02, slowest fill job ever!!

Best thing I've used of diff refill was 3/8" OD
vinyl tubing heated very hot then pushed onto
the nipple of the quart bottle of the synthetic oil.

Makes it easier to hold bottle upside down with
1 1/2 ft. of hose to maneuver around the
    diff housing and other obstacles.

I've done something similar using pvc pipe fittings on our excavator. There's only a 3"-4" gap between the oil fill and the main engine compartment ceiling ha ha, can't fit an oil container in there.
