I read some good stuff, I'll put up a sound clip tomorrow. Hoping to get them on.

I think the headers are stainless if I remember correctly.

Still trying to figure out the emblems.

By the way, the header install was horrible. Took me 2 days to finish.

Passenger side requires the front tire taken off, wheel well liner, starter (pain in the ass), motor mount nuts removed, and engine jacked up. Once the manifold is off, studs at cylinder 3 have to be removed (simple) along with upper stud on cylinder 1 and replaced with new hardware that is a bitch to actually get in because of how the header is shaped. Couple of the nuts took a while to get torqued down. So after searching for the right combination of extensions for the starter bolts and trying to find the right angle to take out the manifold bolts, along with only having enough room for 1/4 turns at a time, it took me like 10+ hours to get the passenger side on.

Driver side, I thought, was going to be easier.

Tire and wheel well liner removed, motor mount bolt removed, steering column separated, dip stick tube removed from engine block (tube goes through header), air box and coolant bottle removed and lastly jack the engine up. Ended up getting driver side done in about 4-5 hours.

Everything is hooked up, think my collector tube bolts are loose though, I can smell against in cab. Truck sounds good though.

Wish the instructions were a little clearer. All it said to do on driver side was removed the dipstick tube. Nothing about steering shaft or motor mount.

I know after hearing yours I'm gonna be stuck on deciding my BDay gift.

JBA headers or the 5100 series Shocks and stabilizer.

I like the 9000 series shocks, adjustability is awesome.

    Can you adjust the Bilsteins?

5100s are so good they don't need adjusted :p

I can't believe you did all that work for a pair of Shory Headers... Does it feel like you gained anything? From what I've read, shorties give you 5-10hp, Long Tubes are closer to 30.
