heres the deal. 97-03 AND 04-08 2wd trucks have spindles and your correct the rotor/lugs is an assembly on a spindle. the 04-08 is larger diameter if not in other places and youd have to modify the brakes as well to complete this. 97-03 and 04-08 4wd have bolt in hub assemblies but the probably still wont swap.
