I'm dealing with rust on my SUV now. I'm at that point where I'll do some patching but when it comes to wholesale body part swaps, it'll be time to let it go. I just welded some plates into the coil spring seats and have to tackle the rockers next, before they rot completely away. I know how you feel though. It seems "perfectly fine except ____" until you step back and look at how many things are in that blank space.
