looking to level my FX4

    like the title says im looking to level my truck, im leaning towards hell bent steel. A buddy of mine installed the 2.5 kit on his and hasnt had a problem. Im looking for some more insight on leveling though. Im wanting to lift it in a year or so. with the level am i able to run 35s with no cutting. any help is appreciated

    Yes, the hell bent steel is a quality product. RedRocket04 on here has a HBS 2.5 kit on his truck.

    Yes, you will be able to run 35s with minor to no trimming needed, but you will have to run either the stock wheels, or wheels with identical specs.

    on stock wheels with the 2.5 level you will be able to run 35s no problem

    yeah i plan on keeping the stock wheels for now when i get my lift is when i plan on getting my new wheels.

    and HBS is the cheapest. around $70

    What was the discussion on the 3" level by HBS btw. I met a guy who had a 4x4 Harley F150 and he had a 3" but wasnt there a discussion how 3" might wear out the ball joints? Can't remember.

    2.5" you will be able to clear 35s depending on the tire you will more than likeyl get some rubbing when your at full lock but thats it.

    did you install it yourself? what was the installation time?

    i plan on running toyo open country M/Ts or Nitto Mud graps.

    I was happy when I had my 2.5 AutoSpring kit. Had a buddy help and we did both in about 3 hrs in my driveway.

    Ended up popping the upper ball joint out vs using a spring compressor. As with most work, first side was the hardest & longest - other side was a breeze.
