Lost both sets of keys to my 06 f150

I know it's a long shot but does anyone know how to beat the system and not have to go thru all the bs of hauling the truck to a dealership???

the only other option you have is to have a mobile lock smith come to your house.

I THINK when I had my 99 ranger we had a guy come to the house and make a set of keys for the truck. of course he had to program the key.

I could be wrong.

 

best bet is to take it to the dealership unfortunately. Lock smiths (at least most) wont have access to pull the transponder key code to reprogram a key. They could make a key thatll unlock the doors but it wont start the truck without being programmed.

What did you do and how much did it costs?

 

I beat the system!!! Lol
Found a locksmith to make me a key with chip and works like great!! 150.00 bucks and they came to my house and did it didn't have to tow it anywhere
