should be two welded studs on the manifolds that go onto the y pipe, then nuts on the back. Good luck, usually theyre so rusted you have to torch em
mine have rusted so bad that the nuts are crumbling away :/ Im gonna take it to the exhaust shop tomorrow and see if theyll bend and weld me up a catless y pipe and ill cut the exhaust down and put the new y pipe in. The cats are burning hot while the exhaust piping is just warm to touch
hit me up if your shop will do this for you, i want to get rid of my cats so bad, no one in iowa city will do this for me
They may do it here but they wont install it. Im going to see if they can just bend/weld up the y pipe then I will have to install it. Although I may wait and get a couple magnaflow hi flow cats and have them installed so the PCM doesnt go stupid and make the truck run like crap again.
