Just picked up my gas gauge and speedo, all the gauges are cheap, but i think any gauge is a better gauge than the factory dummy gauges. I got everything now to replace the factory instruments. Yes yes they don't match... But it was a good deal, and since many of us still have budgets to keep in mind we must make sacrifices ha ha. A little black paint on the rim and they'll be close enough since only the tach, speedo, and fuel gauge will be together. Sent from your Mom's house using Tapatalk
It's hibernating for the winter. I had to move to a new apt and don't have a place to work on it sent from my igloo
Did a little more work I this dash board. It's still a little off but I think it's close enough. The little bit it's off ill be able to fix with 'math' when I weld up the brackets. It's tack welded in now with some rough built brackets. I also pulled the steering column and made some brackets for that to bolt to the new dash. It's a little shorter than a 98 column (which aren't interchangeable) so I'm going to have to address that when I go to start putting plastics back on. I'm going to clean up the edges with some diamond plate when I get the brackets fabbed and the dash cleaned up and painted. But my main goal of getting it 'moveable' without the dash and column hanging by zipties is achieved ha ha. And a little fire to keep me warm. It's been in the mid 30s here the past few days.
