More sub/amp problems.

    What headunit are you running? See if you can borrow a different amp or at least buy one with a good return policy lol.

    It's a JVC HU and is maybe 10 months old. The amp is around 8 m/old and has never overheated as far as I know. I try not to let it get too hot. Like I said sub less than a mnth. The rcas were in the truck when I got it so no telling their age. Guess I'll replace them first and see what happens.

    your remote wire may have come loose...mine did that a while back

    Man I am going to be PISSED if it's the heat unit. Damn thing isn't even a year old.

    i would check the turn on wire first and then the rcas. crappy rcas will go out on you in no time, i know this from buying those cheap amp install kits. i mainly just bought them for the electrical wires and fuses though, not rca quality
    while music is playing, wiggle the rca ends at the amp and hu to check them. if it only works sometimes, then your rcas are shot and you need new ones

    I ran new RCAs the other day and haven't had a problem yet.
