I've been looking at some e36 m3s as an option. But I think long term I'd be happier with a mustang. I'm more familiar with the triton motors and ford in general than I am with anything else.

I'm not planning any mods, or performance add ons. Just exhaust and window tint if it's not already equipped, maybe the factory mag wheels or something if it has ugly ones. Just a nice, stock, fun car I don't have to worry about.

I was also considering another Jetta gli with the 24v vr6 and the 6 spd. That was a fun little car too. Quick and good fuel economy. Hard to work on though. Not as fun as a mustang.

GTIs are fun, but hard to get anyone into the backseat, bmw isn't that much better lol.

I'm thinking of a commuter car in the future and i'm checking out 3 series, older Escorts, and mustangs. I love a manual and rwd.

Yeah, mustang isn't much better for back seats. But it's mostly for me, not for hauling people. I've even found a couple of reg cab f150s I like. I just can't bring myself to own two full size trucks. I might consider a sport trac, but I'm really leaning towards a mustang. Anything else really has to stand out in order to excite me into changing my mind ha ha

Just got this trade offer today.
    https://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/cto/5511161722.html
I lowered my asking price to $5000. Honestly I think $4500 is going to be my mark. I think the trade value is about $500-700 off for an even trade.

So that white one was a scam i think. I got a second email from a different person asking to trade, but he used the identical pics, and similar wording. Then there was a second ad for a different car for trade (350z) the ad had identical wording, identical title, just the specs were switched for the different make and model. The guys responses just didn't seem legit to me.

Anyway, I sold the yj today, and in eyeing these two

    http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/cto/5509897540.html

127k with some stuff done to it with a stick shift, I want a stick shift.

    Or this one
    http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/cto/5488863241.html

It's an auto, 71k original miles! And I'll have about $1000 left over to mod. (Exhaust, tint, new tailights)

Help me out guys, that auto is hard to pass up.

Get the first one with the stick shift. Love the black on black on black. And he's done a lot of work already, exhaust, tint, taililghts...

    Besides, 127k on a 1995 isn't that much. I have more than that on my 07  It's only 6000mi a year.

Yeah, I know I'll be happier long term with the stick. Plus the guy with the auto isn't calling me back.
