The roads here aren't too bad in certain areas, but they can be super sketch in the worst places like the fugging interstate! I've got 2 bent wheels and 1 cracked one sitting in my garage right now to prove it. My truck has had the worst luck with the damn out of nowhere potholes on the interstate. So yeah, no slam for me. I like the look, but being I bought it to be a daily, I'm not wanting the headache of dodging bumps and holes regularly lol. I'm just looking to bring her down to earth a little more and tighten the suspension up. I'm impressed at how well it handles to be an American sedan, it drives like a foreign car (basically it doesn't handle like it has water balloons for suspension) and I mean that in a good way. Has a real good feel around corners. Not sure about the retros, I might consider it later if I decide not to drop a $1000 on the TLF's heads. Believe it or not the factory halogens are pretty damn bright. Way brighter than my truck that's for sure Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
Can't fault you for that. I won't slam the GTI either because of road conditions. Even if it does look great, just isn't practical. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
Air ride may be an option for me on down the road, but who knows. Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
At first read "Lightning heads" "$1000" I thought you found some trick engine heads for the motor until I read further. I was thinking of the old SHO Yamaha heads maybe.
Here's the link https://www.thelightingfirm.net/product/2g-ford-fusion-led-upgrade-stage-i-halogen-or-hid/ https://www.thelightingfirm.net/product/13-15-ford-fusion-led-mondeo-style-led-headlights/ Just so damn expensive, it's freaking lights for pete's sake! Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
They don't make the car faster just "headlights". That's what lead me to think mid sentence it was engine heads at a $1k price tag.
