I also have the Duratracs. I haven't had the problem with taking off in the rain, or the freeway "hop." Overall a great tire and I'd buy them again. I've only had them for about 5,000 miles though so can't say much about tread wear.

A bigger tire tho will also at times cause freeway hop.

Thats cool that you got them. With regular rotation and your alignment being good, you should easily see 40K plus.Did you also get the Load Range D tires?

Gotta move her on up for ppl who might be looking for tires and want reviews.

Oh also did my first mud hill climb yesterday.Awesome.Gripped very nice in
2wd.Didn't feel any need to use my 4wd to get her up.Alittle free spin at first, but thats only because i stepped on the gas,I eased off the gas and let the tires bite and they got me up:waytogo:

Okay I got the duratracs too. About 100 miles on them, and I will say no noise whatsoever compared to my old hankooks. Ride better than my old street tires and hankooks. Very soft compound. So far gripping great. Have noticed wheel hop.

Really you think there a very soft compound?I would have to disagree.I am assuming your running a bigger than stock tire?If so,that might explain your wheel hop as it can be common with bigger tires.

I got 35's also sitting on my 17's.I push down and it's not soft to me at all.Hmm wonder why that is?It also depends on what psi your running i am thinking?Either way i am very happy with the side wall construction.Very puncture resistant i have found out a few times.lol.

Buy them!!! This guys review is spot on except I don't have trouble spinning them from a dead stop in the rain. I have the same size and everything. Just get a few in you and go online shopping with your CC in hand :)
