    I've had a leaking windshield and I let it get to out of hand now I have a bigger problem buy I can't seem to find the right part to replace it hoping for some one to name the right part

    thanks for the reply but will that outer piece fix the piece below and are there any write ups on a replacement like this

    The part outer section should cover the red arrow area. Your rust may go further into the door threshold, then you may need that replacement panel too. Not sure where to find a write up yet but I'll look around.

    The most important part is the floor pan. I would work on that first and then move on to the next piece if there is more rust on the inner panels.

    Ok thanks for the advice and I have a bad leak I that's I'm pretty sure is coming from the windsheild has anyone every resealed theirs

    My 1974 F100 had a spot smaller than a dime just below the windshield seal in the metal of the cowl I sealed it with E6000 silicone type sealant.

    Personally myself I would pay someone with windshield experience to seal it for my fear of breaking glass trying to get it out to clean the old sealant out and apply new sealant.
