Nearing 200K

    well ive put 10k miles on my truck this year and its nearing 200k (196,XXX) im really worried about the truck braking down on me. everytime i hear i weird noise my heart sinks but when this sucker goes out its gonna be like 3K to replace so i wondered and thought about putting a 351 carb in it and for tranny wise will it bolt to the 4r70W please give me some info on this i know someone put a 302 FI motor in theirs on one of the other forums

    i have the 4.6L V8 and for 2k i can buy a 500 horse 460 at a local builder

    i got the 302 in mine, but mine is old of course its a 91

    Drive her till she quits. Then swap in a 302 and 5-speed, no need to worry about computers then :peace:
