New f-350 super duty owner. Tips please

Hi all. I am a new owner of a 2000 f-350 super duty dually, v10.

I bought it from my mechanic so I do not expect to have any issues in the near future.

I would however, like to know what you guys recommend for making the truck "mine". Such as:
-upgrades for performance
-exhaust
-accessories
-foot boards, etc.

A chip, intake and exhaust would help. There isn't much you can do with the gassers to add significant performance though. Aesthetically, personally for me on my 01 7.3, the amber front signals HAD to go.



I went with Harley heads from an 05, but to me even clear corners or the full clear headlight set from an 02-04 look better than the amber signals. They're easier to install too. The 05+ involves cutting.


Your truck looks good as it is though! Sometimes less is more! Leveled duallys are awesome too.

I would get the clear fronts like Joe said, and some 05+ tow mirrors to start. A new exhaust and 5 Star tune will help, headers would help, but are hard to find for the V10.

Great looking truck !

I like to make them mine with aftermarket head
unit and better than stock speakers.

You may be able to find some stock foot boards
like mine locally on craislist for cheap. IDK
maybe you want round tube or go all out on some
new ones.

I didn't even think of headers. Good call.

Also billet grilles really set off the front end, especially since your guard is chrome. They have a bunch of different types.
