New Harley Steering Wheel - Radio Controls & Leather

    I have a stock XLT steering wheel. It was grey but I painted it black. its pretty rough after 145k so I decided to get a new steering wheel. Picked up this one off of eBay for a good steal. Comes w/ the radio/climate control buttons which I didnt have previously, however only the radio controls will work as I do not have the fancy HVAC system. I'll make a thread when I go to do the swap for those that want to upgrade your steering wheel as well. Should be here next week... :waytogo:

    thats exactly what im thinking. ive been wanting a billet wheel for mine but apparently the adapters are hard to come by for my truck...so i want a king ranch wheel. let us know how it goes !

    You can buy the kits to cover your wheel in KR leather and lace it yourself, I'm gonna do this soon

    The trick w/ the airbag is simple: unplug the battery for atleast 30 min THEN start disassembling. That is enough time to get all residual power out of the system. Most people get excited once it comes out and it has gone off when they set it down too hard.

    Just shipped today. Tracking says 9/19. so that means i'll be getting to it the weekend of the 21st FYI

    Heck ya Vano that will be nice need to come up with something else for the other bottons surely you could wire some other radio control into the other buttons as well?
