Well I managed to find a cargo net that will work in my expedition, and its a 2001-2007 Toyota Sequoia cargo net that fits perfectly. I ordered one from Toyota today and managed to swing a discount because I have a buddy that works there. I've seen them on eBay for cheap but quality is always questionable with easily manufactured items like a cargo net, side by side it might be hard to tell the difference its usually after some usage where you find what's good and what's not. Picked up some slime green LEDs today to match the oem green tint on the gauge faces, I'm curious to see how they will look. I'll have time tonight to put them in. Sent from my SGH-I337M using Tapatalk
What a nightmare, my cluster had twist sockets with bulbs that aren't removable, so the 168s wouldn't work with my cluster. Not to be deterred I went ahead and pulled the 168s from their bases and soldered then directly to the cluster. I will be wrapping it all up tonight, my only spare time is when I should be sleeping, I stayed up late last night messing with the cluster so I'm exhausted at this point. Also, my Toyota Sequoia cargo net came in today at Toyota, and it fits the expedition like it was made for it. Sent from my SGH-I337M using Tapatalk
The pics don't do it justice but the lights are very nice and more pleasant to look at when driving. If I knew it was going to be this difficult I wouldn't have touched the cluster but at least it's over with. If my expeditions cluster came with the twist sockets with removable bulb it would have been a plug and play affair but this was rediculous, because the LEDs are much bigger than the regular bulbs there was so much back and forth playing to do to get the bulbs through all the holes and then applying enough force to get the needles for the gauges to push through the motherboard but not so much force as to break the soldered points. Thank u very much! The cargo net is very handy, the expedition is nothing crazy but I try to make it as presentable as possible. Sent from my SGH-I337M using Tapatalk
