"New" truck

    Well I got a play truck. It's an 89 XLT regular cab long bed with a 300(for now) Gonna swap a 302 in it with an auto from an 84. Oh her name is "Betty"

    My plan for this truck is to drop it and make it like a street/strip truck with a healthy 5.0 with heads, cam, intake, and maybe some nitrous down the road :drool: The 01 will get lifted eventually

    go ahead and go 351 and you will be happier!! More torque and more hp potential

    ^Already have plenty of 302 blocks though..... And Im not looking to blow doors down just something to beat on. If I wanna go fast I will spray the race car and run 10s...

    302 is perfect but whats wrong with the 300?

    Lol I would love to put a nice pump gas 514 in it haha but no $$$... And a 300 is fine, but I don't wanna mess with fuel injection and I have a whole truck to swap a carbed 302 in it.
