First box of goodies showed up! My 160cc/30% sticks should ship this week. They flow test each injector individually so when I send my tuner in (tomorrow) they reburn my current tunes with the new flow data, I'm also having them add a 140 tune. I figured after spending all that money and goin through the hassle of pulling my chip and sending it in I might as well spend the $80 and have a new tune added. I'm going to order my airdog 150 fuel pump tomorrow as well. Hopefully it'll all be buttoned up in a week or so. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Got some more goodies today! Going to start tearing in to it tomorrow! Shipped my tuner out yesterday so that should be back by the end of the week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Got em all in! It's a whole new truck! Holy crap. I used to daily drive on my 120 race tune, now it's too much. My 60 economy tune feels like my old 120 race tune now. For some reason my tuner isn't working quite right, my 140 aggressive tune wasn't added, but if he forgot to add it I think I'm just going to have him refund the money, I don't need more. My boost is almost up to the 30s (26-27 psi on a hard shift and WOT). A truck this big should not go any faster. It's still running a little rough while it works the air out of the high pressure oil system, probably another 50-60 miles and it'll be smooth. My egt gauge went tatas up a little while ago, I thought it was the probe, put in a new probe and still nothing. So no tractor pulls just yet, I don't know where my egts are yet. I'm going to see if they'll sell me just a gauge since I ordered a new probe from them already, the probe is $50! Almost half the cost of the gauge kit. I still have the airdog to put in, but this injector install was brutal, I think i might have the shop put the pump in. It's more involved than I thought. I'm wrenched out for a bit. The driver's side valve cover hardest to access also. Congrats on the more powah. Galaxy S4 Cetane Powered Android
Actually the passenger side was the hard one! That damn heater assembly was a nightmare to work around. I need smaller hands. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I had a decent air tool set up, just no air to use it. A good solid tool set is good enough for me. I'm not fixing cars daily. The electrics are good enough for me. Not a lot of torque going into an injector swap anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
