Going to make this a little more informative.

Stock pipes are 2.5" in diameter. 2004-2005 have 4 catalytic converters. You can delete the back 2 cats with no bad effects or codes thrown. 2006-2008 have 2 catalytic converters, then a y-pipe, then a giant muffler.

Largest pipe size recommended is a single 3" or dual 2.25". Dual 2.5" works also, but you lose a little low end.

    Mufflers:
You get what you pay for, the more expensive it is, the longer it lasts, and usually sounds better. A popular cheap option is Magnaflow. For any chambered muffler, length=noise. Shorter=Louder. If you just want a good sound, get 18" or longer. 14" and 16" mufflers are pretty noisy.

    X-pipe vs H-pipe:

Get an X-pipe. Better sound and flow. Basic physics

    Headers

You can buy long-tube or short-tube headers. Short tube are a direct replacement for the stock manifolds and flow a little better, but not enough to make them worth the time and money.

Long-tubes are more expensive but give you more torque and a little more horsepower. Any shop capable of installing the headers should be able to connect them to whatever exhaust you have.

    Shortys vs stock manifold

The most common high flow (aftermarket) catalytic converters are made by Magnaflow and cost under $100.
