Could be pinion gear bearings?

 

possibly. I was too worried about how much $$$$ its going to cost me to fix it rather than what exactly is wrong lol

he was saying there was an issue for sure at the front of the differential and there could be a problem at the back. he hasn't torn anything apart just yet, was using a scope to hear what was going on.

 

alright inner and outer pinion bearigns and carrier bearings.

$680.

damn carrier bearings were $100 alone.

truck is all fixed and back in the driveway.

now im broke.

when I went to pay the guy he showed me the bearings. they were pretty beaten up, one was all over the floor.


glad were starting to work 8 hour shifts again! I need money.

Of course I forgot to get a picture of the truck in the day light lol was busy all afternoon.

Wired some reverse lights up. Had a set of these on before but the lens broke, returned them and got another set. They've sat in my parents garage for about a year unopened lol
